Physiotherapy helps to restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability. It can also help to reduce your risk of injury or illness in the future.

I use a combination of treatments, including exercises, massage and mobilisation and posture re-education and rehabilitation. Every treatment is personalised to help improve your whole body â€“ not just your injury.

PHYSIOTHERAPY FOR EVERY MOVE

Ready to Run

Treatment

Good communication is the key to successful planning of your treatment. My initial consultation with you allows me to take a detailed history of your condition or injury before we formalise a plan together of your treatment and rehabilitation. I will make an assement which will usually involves a hands-on examination with the addition of prescribed exercise and posture correction if needed.

Recovering from injury takes time. Whether your injury is sports related or not, a course of Physiotherapy can be very beneficial to help the body to heal quicker and stronger. If you would like to know about how Physiotherapy can help you or want to book a consultation, please email me – I’m here to help.

Woman Stretching

Prevention

Keeping your body strong and supple is the best way to prevent injuries occurring. Stretching to warm your muscles up and cool them down before and after exercise is key. That’s why I complement my physiotherapy treatment with Pilates. Pilates helps to increase flexibility, aids mobility and increases core strength – to help you move easier. If you would like to join one of my classes, or book a one-to-one class please get in touch.
